Welcome to the icy page of Warm Journey - a world where frost becomes magic. Here
you will find ice hotels - unique
places made entirely of ice and snow that offer real winter fairy tales.
Unfortunately, there are no ice hotels in Greece, as the climate does not allow for ice structures - the
country is too
warm for this format. But don't worry! There are several famous ice hotels in Europe that have become real
tourist
attractions. Here are the most famous of them:
The world's first ice hotel, founded in 1989. Completely built from the ice of the Torne River, and rebuilt every year. The rooms are decorated by artists from all over the world, each as a separate ice sculpture. There is also the ICEHOTEL 365, a part of the hotel that operates year-round thanks to its cooled structures.
The hotel is part of the SnowCastle of Kemi complex, built entirely of snow and ice. The rooms have ice beds, lighting from inside the snow walls, and a fabulous atmosphere. You can also visit the ice restaurant, chapel and ice bar.
Near the hometown of Santa Claus, the hotel is rebuilt annually. It has both snow rooms and cozy warm glass igloos for watching the northern lights. It offers a sauna, ice sculptures, and even an ice chapel for weddings!
